Annet Mahendru
Mahendru a Russian Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as a Russian mother. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German television, turned her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. The girl graduated high school in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Then in NYC, she studied acting in the HB Studio. Then, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up numerous projects. Her family was brought up in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as an Russian-speaking mother Olga. The family moved into East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13 years old. She is a star along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television appearance. Her recurring role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
